I really am not on top of the birthday thing.
Happy Birthday Dae Sung! (It was on the 26th…-_-) Big Bang’s resident “smiling angel” has turned 19 years old, he’s an 89-er, a child of the 80’s and all of it’s disastrous wonders-like the crimp or the bokgo…
Anyway, starting May 5th, Dae Sung will be co-hosting music core with Solbi and fellow bandmate Seung Ri. So look forward to that!
I’m seriously beginning to loathe the phrase “Hollywood Debut”, it demands too much hype.
Gackt will be in the Josh Hartnett action-adventure filk, Bunraku. Hartnett is playing a nomad type person who wants revenge, and Gackt, his stereotypical Asian sidekick, is a samurai named Yoshi. *sigh* Hollywood you disappoint me with your lack of innovation.
So, I’m sure most people surfing around the DBSK message boards heard about a Chinese girl in a coma, Wei Lai, waking up suddenly after seven months.
Her mother knew how much she loved DBSK and Xiah Junsu so she played there music non-stop. When she woke up her mother said it was because of DBSK’s music. You can see it all in the video. I didn’t pay much attention to this when I first saw this but it’s pretty amazing. I really don’t think that DBSK’s voices literally brought this girl back but mostly her attachment to the songs must have been the main reason–the love of a fan. There are some ways that I know of that help people get out of a coma, one that I find the most interesting is the one in which a machine sends signals to the brain for it to wake up thousands of times a day non-stop. I was really looking forward to Chae Rim’s new drama, I got a bit discouraged by Dramabeans’ review but then remembered how much I loved On Air and she didn’t so I gave Rivals a try.
Dramabeans was so on point with how I feel about the show, except I may not have laughed as much as her. I’ve only watched the first two episodes though and it may get better. The only reason why I’m going to keep watching is because KST is taking 1000 freaking Arabian nights to release subs for On Air and I need something to watch as procrastination from studying for finals.
Off to watch episodes three and four.

I like the song, it’s the first time I’ve listened to it in it’s entirety. I also just love how in the video they’re singing “you’re such a beautiful woman…” and Yunho’s staring at himself in the mirror (and he kind of looks like a woman with the hair). Haha. Oh, and the pelvic thrusting. I think that’s becoming an SM trademark. (Or is it “an” SM trademark?? Hmm… Rain, help me with my English!)
Please watch it and never again tell me that Rain’s English is better than mine. Popseoul! sounded harsh in their review of the interview but after listening to it I realized that not only is Rain’s English is not great but he also seems so out of it. He asked Popseoul! if they’d seen the movie…. dude, how could he not know that the world wide release is next week…
Anyway, I completely called it about Rain going onto Colbert, but that was a long time coming. I like that Rain’s going to be on Colbert, because I do think Rain’s talented and I LOVE Colbert but my only problem is that Rain’s going on for an interview… I don’t know if that’s the best idea seeing as he had to conduct most of the Popseoul! interview in Korean.
I just want to thank Popseoul! for their interview. We finally get to see that one sentence of English in a trailer is not the perfect English speaker prove.

My friend recently moved to San Fran but before she left we’d always laugh at this vid. We found it randomly online one day and it’s become a favorite. 36 seconds of campy goodness. ^^

I was soaring around the soompi dbsk forum when I saw minni3e post her favorite Changmin ufo responses I then had to go look at some more and I posted my favorite (of those I’ve read) as well. I was cracking up. Changmin is so witty, part bitchy and part cracked out (I mean that in the best possible, politically-incorrect way), I love it.
